Joel’s Journey
Hi, I’m Joel Martino, a local real estate agent and property manager in the Guanacaste Region of Costa Rica. I was born and raised in Western Australia but fell in love with Costa Rica when I visited 16 years ago. Beyond the country, I also fell in love with a beautiful Costa Rican woman named Michelle who I’m now lucky to call my wife.
Michelle and I traveled around Costa Rica together in search of the perfect place to call home. We were looking for an area home to good schools, business opportunities, surf, beautiful scenery, and a strong sense of community. We found the Tamarindo region of Guanacaste ticked all the boxes and more.
We now have two beautiful children and have settled into the iconic Hacienda Pinilla development. Over the past decade, I have specialized in high-end property rentals and real estate within the resort community while enjoying the amazing life this area has to offer.
Through Vida Pinilla, I am presenting a full-service vacation rental and real estate company to welcome guests from around the world into immaculate homes in this beautiful paradise. I look forward to helping my clients experience the incredible lifestyle this area has given me, my family, and our community.
